Elphaba, delivered having emerald green skin color, is actually intelligent, feisty, and a social outcast. Due to her uncommon green skin tone, she is an outsider & people usually segregate her, which includes her father that is also the governor of Munchkinland. Elphaba who actually is the Wicked Witch of the West, is interpreted in Wicked the Musical to be more of the victim that was misunderstood.
